Opening hours
The parking lot will open at 07:00. Check-in will open at 07:30. The festival site will close at 20:00.
Start time and e-ticket
Double-check your start time as specified on your e-ticket on your personal Mud Masters profile page. Then print your ticket and bring it to the event, or alternatively, download it in advance on your phone.
Be at the venue 1.5 hours in advance
To ensure smooth proceedings (which will make the experience better for all of us!), we’d like to ask you to make sure you arrive at the parking lot 1.5 hours before your designated start time. Make sure you arrive at the starting area 20 minutes before your start time for the joint warm-up with all the other Mud Masters in your starting group.
Put on your running gear before travelling to the venue
If you’re fully dressed by the time you arrive at the venue, you’ll be ready to rumble sooner! Please find below our advice on what to wear.

Cloakroom
It’s a good idea to bring a bag in which you can put some warm clothes, as well as a towel and a garbage bag in which you can put your wet gear after the run. You can leave your bag in the staffed cloakroom. The fee for use of the cloakroom is included in the price of your ticket.
Don’t bring too many things, and if possible, share a bag with one or more other members of your team. This will reduce the number of people waiting to drop off their bags at the cloakroom, and will make it easier for people to retrieve their bags afterwards.
What will you get for taking part in this event?
- Sore muscles
- An exclusive finish shirt
- Photos showing you in action
- Cloakroom use
- Water and fruit at the course
- A drink at the finish line
This is your finish shirt!
This is the collector's item finish shirt that you can wear with pride after your epic finish! It is included with your ticket and will be waiting for you at the finish line.

Pre-order your medal
Reward your top performance and order our limited edition medal via your personal Mud Masters profile. You can pick it up at the merchandise tent on the festival grounds during the event. In addition to the general Mud Masters medal below, separate medals for the 16km and Family Edition are also available for purchase.

Catering
There is plenty of opportunity to purchase food and drinks on the festival grounds. You are not permitted to bring your own coolers and/or crates of beer.
Supporters
Your supporters will cheer you on, all the way to the finish line! Supporters who have a valid supporter ticket are welcome to join you in the start and finish area. Outside these areas, your supporters won’t need tickets to watch the action.
Supporter tickets can be purchased from our online ticket shop and at the check-in desk at the event. Supporters under the age of 18 will be admitted free of charge. To prevent crowding, traffic jams and overburdened facilities, there is a limited number of available tickets. This way, all participants and spectators will have a good and safe experience.
Are you a spectator and want to catch your participant(s) at the finish line? In terms of finish time, assume that it takes a participant an average of 12 minutes to cover 1 kilometer. We advise you to decide on a meeting point beforehand, in case that you somehow miss each other at the finish line. Please be aware that our participants do not carry phones with them on the course and cannot be tracked by a chip.
One more tip: high fives, cheers and cardboard signs along the route give participants wings!
Nature
We seek to respect nature when we organize our events. Please help us look after the grounds by staying on the signposted course, using the toilets when you hear the call of nature, and disposing of your waste in the designated bins.
Freshening up after the run
There are no showers at the event venue. However, we will ensure that you’re somewhat presentable when you cross the finish line, in that one of the final obstacles on the course will feature some refreshing water. Furthermore, you will be able to have a quick rinse near the changing rooms. You’ll have to wash away the lingering remnants of the ‘scent of pride’ when you get home.
AND NOW… The course!
These are the obstacles you will encounter on June 21 or 22. Whichever distance you will be running, you’ll get a great challenge, a lot of mud and a fantastic vibe!

Marathon
Have you signed up for a gruelling 42km run? If so, we salute you!
Your course will involve four laps: 16 + 12 + 6 + 6 kilometres. In case you were mentally performing the calculations: that’s right, this ‘only’ amounts to 40 kilometres. You will run the remaining two kilometres in between laps, while you are switching from the finish line of one lap to the start line of your next lap. Please note that, because we always host our events at different locations, Mud Masters marathons will never be exactly 42.195km long. However, we do our best to approximate this distance to the best of our ability.
There is a marathon drinking station in the start/finish area that you will pass several times. You can put down your own food and drinks here.
You will be given 8.5 hours to complete the course. The male and female participants who are first to cross the finish line will be crowned Mud Masters Marathon Winners. No marathon times will be recorded, meaning there won’t be an official ranking either.
Got any questions?
If so, be sure to read our FAQ.
We’re not sure about you, but WE’RE REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THE EVENT!
See you on June 21 or 22!
